Day-wise itinerary
Pickup from Jammu and a short drive to Katra. Evening free to collect your yatra registration slip and rest before the climb.
Stay: Katra
A full day for the yatra to the shrine and back (roughly 12–13 km each way, pony and palki available locally and paid on the spot).

A shorter, scenic drive (around 3 hours) up to Patnitop, a pine-forested hill station on the Jammu–Srinagar highway. An easy afternoon to walk around and enjoy the cooler air.

Continue north to Srinagar via the Jawahar Tunnel and the Kashmir valley approach (around 6 hours with stops). Check in by evening.
Stay: Srinagar
Drive to Gulmarg, walk the meadow, and take the gondola if conditions allow. Return to Srinagar in the evening for a Dal Lake shikara ride.

Free morning, then transfer to Srinagar airport.

Things to know
- Gulmarg gondola tickets are bought on the spot and aren't something we can pre-book.
- Union cabs at Aru, Betaab Valley and Thajiwas are locally controlled and paid directly, not part of the package price.
- Roads can close on short notice after heavy snow — we rebuild the day plan around it rather than push through.
- Carry a valid photo ID at all times; it's checked at several points through the valley.
Cancellation policy
25% advance to confirm the booking, balance on arrival in Srinagar.
- • 15+ days before travel — full refund of the advance, less bank charges.
- • 7–14 days — 50% of the advance is retained.
- • Under 7 days — the advance is non-refundable.
- • Roads closed by snow, weather or administrative order: we reschedule at no extra cost, or refund whatever has not already been paid to hotels on your behalf.
