Srinagar is where nearly every Snowline trip begins — it's where the airport is, and it's where the houseboats and Mughal gardens sit. The city moves at an unhurried pace along the edges of Dal Lake, with the old town's narrow lanes and river Jhelum bridges a short drive away.
Most guests spend their first evening on a shikara, gliding past floating vegetable gardens and houseboats built in carved walnut wood, before starting the drive out to the valley's other destinations over the following days.
